FAQ: Site Timeline
What is the first step in developing a Web site?
The first step is to define the Web site. Are you building a Web site to build a brand or give your corporation an identity on the Internet, giving clients service and support through your Web site, trying to sell retail items, or just want to be proactive against your competition.
Okay, what is the second step?
Once you decide to develop a corporate Web site, you need to quickly register your domain name-- your address and identity on the Web. It is important to register your domain name to ensure your corporation has their own identity on the Internet.
Okay, what is the third step?
Now that you have a concept of what you want your site to do for you, and have registered your domain name, you should now begin getting together all of the content for your site. Content includes informative text about your company and the services it provides, your company logo, and any pictures or illustrations you want to appear on your site.
How long will it take you to build our web site?
While this estimate can vary widely depending on the size and scope of your site, a good estimate would be that we'll have a draft site up for review between two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half weeks after we receive all of your site content. After you review it, it will normally take us two or three business days to make any corrections or changes you ask for. After you give your final okay, we'll do the final checks and have your site up the next business day!
